About Us

FedEx Virtual Air Cargo is the largest and longest established cargo airline. We have accomplished this by giving you the freedom to fly any aircraft you want on any route you want! FedEx Virtual Air Cargo has dedicated staff, a great website and offer great support. There are always staff and pilots on our voice server who are willing to lend a helping hand as well as making you feel welcome into our small community. What we are looking for in our pilots and future pilots is the desire to have fun, a willingness to make new friends and a passion for flight simulation and aviation in whole. Here at FedExVac we do not put strict burdens or rules on our pilots, we merely require 2 flights a month and you be 16 years of age or older. We are run by adults who understand the meaning between a balance of fun, structure and education. So whether you like to fly offline using AI aircraft or Online with our real pilots we offer something for everyone!!! Happy Landings!

I've been flight simming for over 10 years and can still remember the first time I logged into a Gamespy server and how nervous I was. Shortly after, I joined my first VA and started learning that there is much more to enjoy with this hobby. I quickly found myself getting onto Vatsim and sitting there listening to the pilots and controllers while being too shy to speak. I finally got my nerves up and went for it and man am I glad I did. I then learned the principles of how an airline should work and joined FedExvac. Having the freedom to fly what I want, when I want to where I want works well for me as I enjoy more of the GA flying VFR and reading a good book by the lake. I have tried to stay very active within this airline and love the people that I have been able to meet from all over the world and the friendships I have made here.

I've been using MS Flight Simulator since it was on floppy discs. It took a while for me to get online and have the nerve to fly with other people, but I must say, once I did, it was one of the best decisions to increase the level of my flight simming. Eventually I decided to join a VA, the first VA I was at ended up going under, and it wasn't for another couple years before I finally found a decent VA, FedexVAC. I loved the cargo only aspect of the airline, I also thought the website was simple to navigate, and at the time, I really liked using VAFS. As time went on a position opened up with the VA, and that's when I decided it was time to make this place my VA home. My favorite aircraft would be the 747, followed by the MD-11. I like long haul flights, and long walks on the beach.
